Oregon Football: Spring Game Nike Uniforms Released To Public

Always a cool day to be an Oregon fan: when we get to see the first Nike uniforms of the season.
In this album by Oregon Football on Facebook, Nike released the uniforms that Oregon will wear for the upcoming spring game tomorrow morning. The uniforms (one set in black and one set in white) also feature “Support Our Troops” lettering highlighted on the backs of the jerseys.
Perhaps another highlight is the slick and clean helmet and American flag golden stitching on the jerseys.
Oregon fans look forward to kickoff at the intersquad game at 11:00 AM on April 27.

Oregon Football: Vote Kenjon Barner For Cover of EA Sports NCAA Cover
Oregon Ducks star Kenjon Barner is among the Final Eight candidates to be featured on the cover of the upcoming EA Sports NCAA Football 2014 cover.
To vote for Kenjon Barner, simply click this link or this picture and like the photograph on Facebook. Voting ends on February 18th, and Barner is going against Eddie Lacy, Denard Robinson, Ryan Swope, E.J. Manuel, John Simon, Tyler Eifert and Jarvis Jones.
At this moment, Barner leads the voting (13,209) and maintains a lead over Jarvis Jones (12,322), Denard Robinson (10,537) and E.J. Manuel (9,766).
Barner won the Maden XIX Bowl on January 31st.
The last time that Oregon was on the cover was the NCAA Football 2003 video game, featuring Joey Harrington for PS2, Gamecube and the original XBOX.

Oregon Football: LaMichael James, Haloti Ngata Among Ducks in Super Bowl
For all of you Oregon faithful excited for the Super Bowl tonight, be sure to watch for the Duck alumni that will be playing.
The San Francisco 49ers feature LaMichael James and Will Tukuafu. The Baltimore Ravens will feature Haloti Ngata, Ed Dickson and Dennis Dixon (practice squad).
“Once a duck always a duck thank you to all my Oregon fans today I will play for each of you who supported me since day 1” tweeted LaMichael James.
No matter which NFL team wins, we will crown an Oregon Duck as NFL Champion this evening.

Oregon Football: Ducks 2013 Schedule Released For Public via GoDucks.com
The anticipated wait is over, and Chip Kelly and the Oregon Ducks now have an announced schedule for the 2013 NCAA season.
While running back Kenjon Barner may be heading to the NFL, head coach Chip Kelly hopes to give the Ducks a fighting chance at an NCAA title next season. His schedule to do such was released this morning.

Nothing spells greatness like his performance tonight. Congratulations to @KBDeuce4 for an incredible achievement and an impressive victory for the University of Oregon. Kenjon set the record for most Oregon rushing yards in a game, and helped Oregon score the most points USC has EVER allowed.

In case you were wondering, the Oregon Duck mascot is in fact the best mascot in all of sports.

Jonathan Stewart: Former Oregon Ducks Star Signs 5-Year Extension with Carolina Panthers
The Carolina Panthers have reached a deal with Oregon legend Jonathan Stewart that will ensure him five more years in Carolina.
According to USA Today, Stewart’s contract promises him $22.5 million through 2017 and is worth up to $36.5 million. Stewart was the 13th overall pick in the 1st round of the 2008 NFL Draft coming out of the University of Oregon and he has recorded 26 touchdowns since his professional career began.
“This is a special team and great running back group,” said Stewart via Carolina’s Twitter feed. “I love Charlotte and I’m glad this will be home.”
In his final year at the University of Oregon, Stewart lit the world on fire with an extraordinary impressivd 1,722 rushing yards (2,481 all-purpose) and thirteen touchdowns by the end of the season.
The Oregon Ducks Pit Crew is incredibly proud to call him an alumni of this university.
