Oregon Football: Spring Game Nike Uniforms Released To Public by Bryan Kalbrosky Always a cool day to be an Oregon fan: when we get to see the first Nike uniforms of the season. In this album by Oregon Football on Facebook, Nike released the uniforms that Oregon will wear for the upcoming spring game tomorrow morning. The uniforms (one set in black and one set in white) also feature “Support Our Troops” lettering highlighted on the backs of the jerseys.   Perhaps another highlight is the slick and clean helmet and American flag golden stitching on the jerseys. Oregon Football: How To Pick Up Your Tickets to the Fiesta Bowl Information for how to claim your tickets for the Fiesta Bowl in Arizona have finally arrived. For those of you who have not received the e-mail, we some crucial information that you may need is listed below via Azumano Travel:  UO student tickets will be distributed on January 2nd between the hours of 5:00pm and 6:30pm FireSky Resort and Spa 4925 N Scottsdale Road Scottsdale, AZ 85251 Distribution will occur in the Sky Room, which is located off of the main lobby. We suggest parking across the street at the Chaparral Suites Hotel (5001 N Scottsdale Rd).  Towards the back of the Chaparral Suites is a large open lot with free parking.  If you are unable to pick up your tickets on January 2nd, there will be an additional opportunity on January 3rd before the game, between the hours of 12:30pm and 1:30pm at the FireSky Resort and Spa. We strongly encourage you, however, to pick-up your tickets during the main distribution time on January 2nd. The student indicated on the order form at the time of purchase must bring valid ID in order to take possession of the ticket(s). If you purchased the game day transfer to the stadium, that departure will be at 2:30pm.

In case you were wondering, the Oregon Duck mascot is in fact the best mascot in all of sports.

Jonathan Stewart: Former Oregon Ducks Star Signs 5-Year Extension with Carolina Panthers The Carolina Panthers have reached a deal with Oregon legend Jonathan Stewart that will ensure him five more years in Carolina. According to USA Today, Stewart’s contract promises him $22.5 million through 2017 and is worth up to $36.5 million. Stewart was the 13th overall pick in the 1st round of the 2008 NFL Draft coming out of the University of Oregon and he has recorded 26 touchdowns since his professional career began. “This is a special team and great running back group,” said Stewart via Carolina’s Twitter feed. “I love Charlotte and I’m glad this will be home.” In his final year at the University of Oregon, Stewart lit the world on fire with an extraordinary impressivd 1,722 rushing yards (2,481 all-purpose) and thirteen touchdowns by the end of the season.
